Amazing Centerpiece Ideas from Westdale Florists!

At our Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance, Westdale Florist decorated each table with a different, beautiful centerpiece.  This gave couples a chance to get ideas for their upcoming wedding.

There was a variety of sizes, colours, heights, and shapes. Some centerpieces were 2 and a half ft tall, while others were only half a foot tall.

Some Tips for Choosing your Arrangements

“Today’s Bride” magazine offered some good advice about height of centerpieces. They should either be very tall or very short, you want to avoid having the centrepiece height at eye-level so your guests can carry conversations across the table.

It was also suggested that you take a look at five different factors in order to determine what flowers to choose for your centerpieces and bouquets. You should look at 1. Personality, 2. Season, 3. Availability, 4. Budget, and 5. Scent.

A big part of the price of your flowers will be affected by the season. If you are wanting tulips for your September wedding, it will be really expensive as you are having to pay for the flowers being shipped from a different country.
